scary maze game

The Scary Maze Game (also simply referred to as The Maze) is a browser game created by Jeremy Winterrowd in 1997. It is generally played as an online application. It is usually introduced to a player unaware of its nature. The game is actually an Internet prank that uses an unexpected, frightening image (normally of Linda Blair as Regan MacNeil from the 1973 film The Exorcist), as a practical joke delivered onto the "victim." Many videos depicting such players' reactions to the prank have been uploaded to YouTube. The presumed object of the game is to move a dark blue dot within a path to a red "goal" area without hitting the walls. Towards the end of level three, the player must navigate the dot between increasingly narrow spaces, increasing focus on the monitor and often drawing the person closer to the screen. It is at this point that the scare tactic image and sounds occur. There are many variations to the maze, such as adding a different frightening image to the end of the game and a modified, seven level version on Maniacworld.com. There are other parodies of Scary Maze, accessible from , which has various other versions of the popular game including version 2. To this day, over 4 million people have been the 'victims' of The Maze. Click here ( http://scarymazegame123.com ) to play the crazy maze game. Play
